Biography

Both Jana I. Preis, MD, MPHundergraduate ,'s and graduate studies were completed at George Washington University. At the Yale University School of Medicine, she pursued specialised study in infectious illness and hospital epidemiology. Her specialties include infection management of newly developing illnesses, treatment and prevention of infections in immunocompromised hosts, and hospital antimicrobial stewardship. Dr. Preis has over fifteen years of expertise in infectious disease research and academic medicine. He also has a wealth of medical media knowledge and has made contributions to community health in New York. She is actively interested in medical teaching and clinical research.
